Compuwerx was founded by Leah Z. Packett. Ms. Packett is an accomplished web designer with
extensive experience in networking, programming, and supervising complex projects. She has been recognized for her creative design
work with the Amoco Oil Company and her time sensitive technical expertise at
the Chicago Stock Exchange, as well as her design and development work serving as
Webmaster for Northern Trust Bank, a Fortune 100 company. As an independent design and development consultant,
Ms. Packett served as Project Manager for Brinson Partners in New York and as
International Project Manager in Tokyo for Swiss Bank. Ms. Packett has also developed
successful user friendly solutions for the City of Chicago and the Department
of Veterans Affairs for their communications systems.
Ms.
Packett has proven abilities in working with professional and corporate clients to
determine their needs and to design, implement and support systems that meet those needs.
She has combined her experience, creativity, and design and development expertise to offer
web sites that are professional, functional, and also economical.
Ms.
Packett holds a Bachelor of Business Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago
with special studies in Management Information Systems, and is a Microsoft Certified
System Engineer. Ms. Packett is fluent in
Mandarin Chinese
Compuwerx works
in consultation with S. Gina Trippi, an attorney and Certified Protocol Consultant with
ten years of public relations experience. Ms.
Trippi is a member of the Florida Bar and the District of Columbia Bar. As an attorney, Ms. Trippi has extensive courtroom
experience and has served as legal policy advisor to elected officials at the local, state
and federal levels of government. Ms. Trippi
also offers the benefit of her ten years of experience in public relations for non-profit
organizations including the League of Women Voters, Women in Management, Radio Reading
Service, and the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust.
Ms.
Trippi received her law degree, graduating law review, from the Loyola School of Law in
New Orleans, Louisiana, and her LL.M. in Securities Regulation from the Georgetown Law
Center in Washington, D.C. She holds a
Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communications from Southern Methodist University in Dallas,
Texas, and was Certified as a Corporate Etiquette and International Protocol Consultant by
the Protocol School of Washington. |
